Home of some of the finest steep fall line skiing, Turner Mountain in one of Montana’s best kept secrets. Its 2,110 feet of vertical drop with 60% black diamonds is quite the draw for powder seeking enthusiasts.
The all volunteer operated Turner operates under a Forest Service special use permit. Before 2002 the only transportation up the mountain was by the infamous 5,600 foot T-Bar. Turner has since then upgraded to a 2 person chair lift. In 2006 a 4,000 square foot base lodge was built, accommodating a food service, dining room, first aid facilities, and a rental shop. The lodge is known for serving one of the best burgers and fries in the State.
Turner is open Friday through Sunday and holidays. A full day Adult ticked is $30 and a Junior/Senior ticked is $25. On non-operational days Turner is available for reservation. For more information about Turner Mountain please visit Turner’s website.
